About

Hi, I’m Lori. I’ve had a passion for furniture and spaces for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, whenever I walked into a furniture store, I’d pretend it was my own home and start mentally rearranging everything. My childhood diary shows basic sketches of how I rearranged my room. As a young adult, I started upcycling furniture because that’s all I could afford and I found soul in old things. I was doing shabby chic long before it was trendy.

I’ve reupholstered, painted, stained, wallpapered—you name it, I’ve probably done it. For the longest time, I didn’t quite understand why I was so drawn to rearranging spaces and creating little vignettes everywhere. I wasn’t an interior designer, so what was it? Then I discovered Feng Shui, (or intentional space design), and it clicked. I finally had a name for what I’d been doing all along: creating spaces that feel balanced and harmonious.

It started with a few friends asking for help with their homes, then some co-workers, and that’s when I realized—I love transforming spaces, no matter the budget. It’s about being intentional, moving things around, and connecting to the energy of the meaningful pieces in the room. I know it might sound a little strange, but I’ve started to think of myself as a bit of a furniture whisperer. Everything has its own energy, and when you refresh your space, you invite new energy into your life. My goal is to help create beautiful spaces—and in turn, beautiful things start to happen.
