Why “Brown With Flowers?”

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to both furniture and flowers. It started when I was a child, always rearranging my bedroom, painting furniture, reupholstering old pieces, and adding a flower or two to make the space feel just right. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a lifelong passion for transforming spaces.

The name "Brown With Flowers" comes from something my friends often joked about: "You’re so easy to shop for, if it’s brown with flowers, you’ll love it." That playful comment perfectly sums up my design philosophy: blending unique, well-loved furniture pieces (the brown) with elements of beauty and connection (the flowers). Over time, my passion for creating harmonious environments grew, and I embraced Feng Shui as a natural extension of my work.

I’ve learned that you don’t need a big budget to create a beautiful space. You just need to be intentional, move a few things around, and choose pieces that really resonate.
When that happens, the room shifts and comes to life.
It starts to tell a story.
